Week 5. Rubric
People learn the most from the life and not from the lessons they have at school. That's why I have used project based learning in my teaching, so it was not new to me. But Rubric has been the biggest discovery of the week. I have some experience in creating evaluation tables and think of it as a terrible work. We used to make tables in Word and fill them with the descriptions. It was long and tiring task. We have spent hours on that. Rubric has changed this point of view! It was easy. I have created my Favorite Tale rubric in less than ten minutes. Great!

HiJurgita,
ReplyDeleteYou are right; creating a rubric has never been so easy. I also enjoyed it. I ,also, agree with you that we learn more from real things or what we call authentic. PBL is new for me and I think I will use it alot.
Regards,
Said Hassan
Hi Jurgita,
ReplyDeleteI have the same experience as yours. Created rubrics before on Word and it does not look really nice plus it's also tiring. It's amazing how technology helps a big deal in teacher's job, isn't it?

Hello my classmates,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comments. I am very happy to study with you. Here we learn not only how to use technologies in our lessons, but also how to save time. As Said Hassan says: "creating a rubric has never been so easy". Now we can forget about spending hours in front of Word table and filling the criteria for assessment.
Thanks to Robert and his team.
Best,
Jurgita
